U.S. State Department to establish new cyber bureau led by ambassador -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – On Monday, the U.S. State Department stated that it would establish a bureau for cyberspace policy and digital policy. The Bureau will be managed by a Senate confirmed ambassador at large.

Price stated that the international cybersecurity, digital policy, and freedom of digital expression will be the main focus for this new bureau during a press conference.

He said that the department will also create a special envoy to assist with critical or emerging technologies.
