Islamic State in Afghanistan could be able to attack U.S. in six months

WASHINGTON, (Reuters) – The U.S. intelligence agency has determined that the Islamic State of Afghanistan has the potential to attack the United States within six months and plans to carry out the threat, a Pentagon senior official informed Congress Tuesday.
