(Reuters) – Texas Instruments Inc (NASDAQ:) Inc fell short of Wall Street’s expectations for third quarter revenue Tuesday. The chipmaker was hampered by a supply chain problem and a shortage in semiconductor parts that prevented it from meeting the soaring demand.

The total revenue grew 22% from $3.82 to $4.64 Billion last year, and is now at $4.64 Billion. According to IBES data from Refinitiv, analysts were anticipating $4.66 trillion.
