Visa profit rises on increased travel, online spending -Breaking

(Reuters) – Visa Inc (NYSE) announced a jump in quarterly profit Tuesday as the world’s biggest payment processor saw a boost in travel due to economies recovering worldwide and people buying online.

From $2.14 Billion, which was 97c per Class A Share a year ago, net income rose to $3.58Billion, or $1.65 per Class A shares, in the fourth quarter ending Sept. 30.

According to data from Refinitiv, analysts had on average expected a profit $1.54 per shares.
