eBay Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3 -Breaking

Investing.com – eBay reported Wednesday the results of their third quarter. They beat forecasts by analysts and generated revenue above expectations.

eBay posted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.9 for revenue of $2.50B. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS $0.8856 on revenues of $2.45 billion.

eBay shares rose 54% over the first year but are down 4.36% compared to its October 22nd 52-week peak of $81.19. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 21.22% from the start of the year.

After-hours trading on eBay saw a drop of 4.30%

Following a Visa A earnings beat on Tuesday, eBay reported an EPS report of $1.62 per share on $6.56B in revenue, as opposed to the forecasts of EPS $1.55 on $6.52B.

Netflix exceeded expectations by beating all forecasts on October 19, posting a third quarter EPS (EPS) of $3.19 on revenues of $7.48B. This compares to a projected EPS (2.57 per cent on revenue $7.48B).
