Norwegian Air to lease 13 Boeing planes -Breaking

OSLO (Reuters) – Budget airline Norwegian Air agreed to lease up 13 Boeing (NYSE 🙂 aircrafts in anticipation of a higher demand for travel next year, the company announced Wednesday.

This lease is for Boeing’s 737-880 NG aircraft. Delivery will begin in the fourth quarter and continue through the first quarter next year.

Norwegian Air didn’t say the identity of the lessors, but stated that they were “experienced and have had prior relationships with Norwegian”.

It will also help Norwegian deliver its “announced summer 2020 flying program with flights to more than 250 destinations”, the company said.
