Biden likely to delay his departure to Europe by a few hours

(Reuters) – U.S. president Joe Biden will likely delay his departure for Europe by a few minutes as he attends the House Democratic Caucus meeting Thursday morning. CNN and NBC News both reported on Wednesday.

Biden, who was not expected to arrive in Europe with an agreement on climate change mitigation measures, traveled there without any indication that Congress members would come to terms on Wednesday regarding a wider spending deal.
