Cryptocurrency exchange — Crypto.com integrates with Solana, an open-source and decentralized blockchain. Solana achieves consensus with Proof-of-Stake and Proof-of-History.

Crypto.com shared the announcement on Twitter, posting a link from its blog where it first made the announcement. Additionally, withdrawals and deposits of USDC will be possible via Solana. This is in addition to ERC20, BEP20, Arbitrum, and the Polygon Network already available on the company’s website and app.

Crypto.com claims that users now have the ability to make USDC stablecoin transfers faster, more cost-effectively, and with greater security via Solana’s blockchain. The Solana blockchain allows users to withdraw and deposit USDC tokens faster and with less fees.

The integration aligns with Crypto.com’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to cryptocurrency.
