Former NY Gov. Cuomo charged with sex crime, months after resigning amid harassment probe

Former governor of New York Andrew Cuomo was charged in a misdemeanor sex crime complaint at Albany City Court. A court spokesperson told NBC News that this had been reported to NBC News.
This filing is two months after Cuomo resigned following multiple allegations of harassment by women against him as a three-term Democrat.
The state Attorney General’s Office released an indicting report on August that showed he had sexually harassed at minimum 11 staffers (current and past), including one state trooper who is assigned to protect his detail, and other women.
Five New York State District Attorney’s Offices have investigated possible Cuomo crimes against these women.
