Gulf Coast gasoline declines as focus turns to December -Breaking

© Reuters. NEW YORK (Reuters). Traders said Wednesday that gasoline for quick delivery to the U.S. Gulf Coast declined due to the focus of the market on December deliveries. This month is when U.S. seasonal demand falls seasonally.
Market participants reported that U.S. Gulf Coast conventional gasoline M4 fell by three-quarters of a percent, with prices trading 2.85cents higher than the New York Mercantile Exchange gasoline futures benchmark.
CBOB gasoline A4 fell quarter of an cent and traded 2.75c per gallon lower than futures, traders stated.
Gulf Coast 62-grade ULSD was up 0.05 cent to trade 6 cents per gallons below the NYMEX Ultra-low Sulfur Diesel Futures Contract.
Chicago CBOB gasoline was little changed, trading 8 cents per gallon below futures, traders said.
Chicago ultra-low sulfur diesel traded unchanged at 17 cents per gallon, below futures diesel.
In the Midwest, gasoline of Group 3 V-grade fell by 4 cents and traded 14 cents less than the benchmark.
The benchmark was 12 cents higher than Group 3. Diesel in the 3rd group fell by 2cents.
New York Harbor M3 gasoline, which trades at 7.5 cents per gallon higher than futures, was unchanged traders reported.
The diesel for New York Harbor delivery was unchanged, with futures trading at 0.15 cents per gallon higher than futures.
U.S. gasoline stocks fell by 2 million barrels in the week to 215.75 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts’ expectations in a Reuters poll for by 1.9 million-barrel drop. Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and , fell by 0.4 million barrels in the week to 124.96 million barrels, versus expectations for a 2.3 million-barrel drop, the EIA data showed.Refinery crude runs rose by 58,000 barrels in the last week, EIA said., EIA data showed. Refinery utilization rates increased by 0.4%.
NYMEX’s RBOB Futures Contract fell 0.0398cents to trade at $2.4099 a gallon.
The NYMEX ultra low sulfur diesel futures dropped 0.0394 Cents and traded last Wednesday at $2.4754 per gallon.
Traders said that the price of renewable fuel (D6) credits in 2021 was $1.275.
Traders reported that biomass-based D4 credits were traded at $1.59 per unit.
