StarbucksExpected to release its fourth-quarter fiscal earnings on Thursday after the bell.

Refinitiv surveyed Wall Street analysts and found that they are anticipating the following:

  • Earnings per share: 99 cents expected
  • Revenue8.21 trillion expected

StreetAccount interviewed analysts who expect Starbucks’ same store sales to rise by 18.3%. However, the focus will be on two of the largest coffee chains in the world: Brazil and China.

The United States could have seen a decline in demand for Starbucks coffee beverages due to the fallout of the Delta variant.

China is the second largest market for the company. The focus of the recovery will be on China. Starbucks warned last quarterThe pace of the process was slower than predicted, which likely explains why Covid-19 has been resurging.

Investors also will be interested in how Starbucks handles inflation, staffing and supply chain issues, all of which are headaches that have plagued many companies within the restaurant sector. On Wednesday, Starbucks announced that it would raise wages for workersAt least two times in 2022. This will bring its average hourly pay to $14-$17 by summer.

It is anticipated to issue a forecast for fiscal 2222 as the company finishes its fiscal year. Wall Street expects it to earn $3.73 per Share, an increase of 15.6% over fiscal 2021 on $32.07 Billion in revenue.

This year’s share price has risen by more than 5 percent, making it $133 billion in market capital.
