© Reuters. Stryker earnings, revenue miss in Q3Investing.com Stryker (NYSE:) Thursday’s third quarter report showed revenue that was below analysts’ expectations and forecasts that were not met.
Stryker posted earnings per share (EPS) of $2.2 on $4.16 billion in revenue. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $2.29 for revenue $4.23B.
Stryker shares fell 2% over the first of the year. Still, it is down 4.51% against its 52-week peak of $281.16 which was set September 9. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 22.37% from the start of the year.
Stryker shares fell 3.16% after hours trades following the report.

Stryker’s report follows an earnings beat by J&J on October 19, who reported EPS of $2.6 on revenue of $23.34B, compared to forecasts EPS of $2.35 on revenue of $23.64B.
Thermo Fisher Scientific beat all expectations Wednesday, posting a third quarter EPS (EPS) of $5.76 on revenues of $9.33B compared with a forecast of EPS (4.68 for revenue of $8.33B).
