PARIS (Reuters] – France 2 TV spoke to Julien Denormandie on Friday, stating that no progress had been made in negotiations between France and Britain regarding post-Brexit fishing licenses. Denormandie also stated it was proper for France not to sanction the UK.

France and Britain are at odds over what to do with fishing licenses that were issued after Britain’s departure from the European Union.

In a quickly deteriorating dispute over post-Brexit fish rights, Britain condemned France’s seizing of a British vessel in French waters on Thursday and warned Paris not to retaliate.
