The share price of Bakkt, a crypto-services company that is backed by Intercontinental Exchange (BKKT), soared 120% Monday due to two significant partnerships with Mastercard & Fiserv.
The Mastercard partnership will allow Bakkt’s U.S customers to purchase, sell, and hold cryptocurrency assets through custodial wallets. Bakkt’s strategic alliance with Fiserv allows Bakkt to offer digital asset services that are merchant-facing.
