Yoni Assia, co-founder of eToro and its CEO is Yoni. eToro has over 23 million users worldwide. Yoni, who co-authored the Colored Coins whitepaper in 2013 with Vitalik Yeterin is well known for being a crypto pioneer. Yoni co-founded GoodDollar in 2018, a non-profit initiative that aims to create a sustainable, scalable structure for the delivery of a universal digital basic income worldwide via crypto asset technology. Yoni has been an advocate for different ways of wealth distribution and capital allocation since 2008. He first introduced the GoodDollar idea in The Visible hand in 2008. Yoni has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management, as well as an MSc Computer Science (IDC Herzliya) from Reichman University.
