The gained 0.4% by the end of Sydney.
Blackmores Ltd. (ASX) was the best performer of the session, rising 5.50% or 5.18 point to trade at 99.35 by the end. During the meantime, Wisetech Global Ltd (ASX.:) added 5.46 points or 2.79 to end at 53.87. Polynovo Ltd. was up 4.67%, or 0.085 to 1.905 in trade late.
Westpac Banking Corp. ASX: was among the worst-performing sessions. It fell 7.6%, or 1.890 point to close at 23.780. NRW Holdings Ltd (ASX) fell 4.93%, or 0.09 point to close at 1.74. Resmed Inc DRC was also down 4.92% (or 1.830) to reach 35.340.
On the Sydney Stock Exchange, falling stocks outnumbered those in progress by 698 to 6,94 respectively and ended unaffected.
The , which measures the implied volatility of S&P/ASX 200 options, was up 8.06% to 14.025.
The December delivery of Gold Futures was up 0.1%, or 1.90, to $1785.80 per troy ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which fell by 0.69 or 0.83%, to reach $82.88/barrel, and January Brent oil, which fell 0.52 or 0.52, to trade at $83.20/barrel.
AUD/USD fell 0.38%, to 0.7492. AUD/JPY dropped 0.04% to 85.71.
