China’s Xi to address Glasgow COP26 in written statement on Monday -Breaking

SHANGHAI, (Reuters) – The Chinese President Xi Jinping will speak at the COP26 climate conference. According to an official schedule, he will make a written speech.

Xi’s speech will be posted to the official conference site on Monday after addresses from world leaders including President Joe Biden (USA) and President Emmanuel Macron (France).

According to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s list of speakers, Xi was the only one to make a written address to the “First part of the High-Level Session for Heads State and Government”.
