Edu-Tech Firm Boxlight in Deal to Acquire FrontRow -Breaking

Investing.com — Boxlight Corp (NASDAQ:) said Monday that it has agreed on a deal to acquire FrontRow Calypso, a classroom and campus communication solution for the education market.

FrontRow products are available for campus communications, classroom audio and emergency communication. 

Although no financial details were disclosed, the company indicated that it would close the deal no later than December 31.

Michael Pope, Boxlight’s Chairman and CEO stated: “We are delighted to welcome Jens and the entire FrontRow Team to the Boxlight family. Last year we identified campus and classroom audio as the top opportunity for growth, other than interactive displays. We actively pursued FrontRow’s industry-leading solutions and identified them. 

“I am thrilled to have come to an agreement with FrontRow shareholders and look forward to fully integrating FrontRow products in our Boxlight ecosystem.”

On the news, Boxlight shares reached a record high of $2.46. The shares are now up slightly less than 6% to $2.36
