GLASGOW, (Reuters) – President Joe Biden assured world leaders Monday that the United States will fulfill its promise to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50-52% in 2030 compared with 2005 levels. He also said that the world should help more developing countries to combat climate change.

Biden said that the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Scotland was still far from where it should be.
