ZURICH (Reuters). Adecco (SIX) Group continues to experience an increase in staffing and anticipates modest growth for fourth quarter revenues, according to the temporary and recruitment company. However, it warned its clients that they are having difficulty finding enough qualified workers.

The global pandemic is currently affecting healthy demand, as well as supply chain problems.

Talent shortages. “This makes it difficult to recover in the next months,” the Swiss company explained in a statement.

The third quarter’s revenues, adjusted for currency fluctuations, trading days, and divestments rose by 9% to $5.06 billion, slightly less than analyst estimates of 5.28 billion euros.

Adecco stated that operating income rose 75%, to 196 millions euros. This is due to the lack of any COVID charges. Meanwhile, shareholders’ net income of just 133million euros missed expectations for 137million euros.
