Bed, Bath & Beyond Unveils Tie-Up With Kroger Amid Digital Market Place Launch -Breaking

Investing.com Bed Bath & Beyond Inc (NASDAQ:) jumped in afterhours market hours Tuesday, following a slew of positive updates from the homewares retailer including a partnership with grocery chain Kroger (NYSE:).

Bed Bath & Beyond Inc (NASDAQ:) was up more than 80% in after hours trading.

The company stated that they are gearing up for peak holiday season. They are especially excited about new sales channels, including our partnership with Kroger and their own digital Marketplace.

 

In another positive update, the company said it had completed $600 million in share repurchases since the end of fiscal 2020, and now expected to repurchase the remaining $400M shares of its $1B by the end of fiscal 2021, two years ahead of scheduleIt is. .

 

The September trends shared during our earnings call weeks ago have continued to be consistent with sales results.  We remain focused on driving comp sales growth in November which will have a significant impact on our quarterly sales,” the statement added.
