GLASGOW, (Reuters) – U.S. President Joe Biden said Tuesday that he believes Terry McAuliffe, a fellow Democrat in Virginia will win the election for governor. He said this as voters were casting their ballots in what he described as a tight race.

Biden stated, “We knew it was a tight race from the start.” He said that he anticipated a result late at night. It would be determined by the success of the party in getting people to the polls.
