Analysts expected BP to earn $3.06 trillion in underlying replacement costs profit. In BP’s third quarter, however, it reached $3.32 Billion.
It compares with the $2.8Billion profit recorded in the second-quarter and the $86M earned a year prior, as energy prices plummeted after the outbreak of coronavirus.
