Ford MotorUnveiled Tuesday, a truck custom made by the company that blends its history with future plans for electrification. This includes its much-anticipated “supertruck” F-150 Lightning pickup in 2022.

Ford’s “all-electric Ford F-100 Eluminator truck concept” features retro-styling from a 1978 F-100 pickup, complete with electric motors. 2021 Mustang Mach-EGT Performance Edition. The interior screens and controls are similar to the Mach-E electric crossover.

Eric Cin, Ford Global Director of Accessories and Licensing said in a statement that “Our F-100Eluminator Concept is a preview how we’re supporting our customers as they move all-electric and embrace zero-tailpipe emission performance even for their heritage vehicles.”

The concept pickup can produce 480 horsepower and 634 foot-pounds of torque, Ford said. Ford Performance created the concept pickup and worked with partners such as Roadster Shop, MLe Racecars, and Roadster Shop on its design.

Each of Ford’s e-crate motors produces 281 horsepower and 317 foot-pounds of torque and is street-legal in all 50 states, according to the company. Ford stated that the motor would retail at $3,900.

Tuesday’s unveiling of the Ford F-100 Eluminator took place in Las Vegas at SEMA Show. This annual event is for automotive specialty and aftermarket sectors.
