© Reuters. Mondelez Earnings, Revenue Beat in Q3Investing.com – Mondelez (NASDAQ) announced Tuesday that the third quarter beat analyst forecasts with revenue surpassing expectations.
Mondelez posted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.71 on revenues of $7.18B. Investing.com polled analysts and predicted EPS at $0.6986 for revenue $7.05B.
Mondelez shares have risen 13% since the start of the year but are still down 6.433% from their 52-week high of $65.60 on July 27, 2017. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 23.28% from the start of the year.
After-hours trading for Mondelez stock rose 3.62% following the release.

Mondelez’s report follows an earnings beat by Procter&Gamble on October 19, who reported EPS of $1.61 on revenue of $20.34B, compared to forecasts EPS of $1.59 on revenue of $19.83B.
Coca-Cola exceeded expectations by beating forecasts on October 27, with third-quarter EPS at $0.65, on revenue $10.04B. This compares to the $0.5785 expected on revenue $9.77B.
