Pfizer will have enough Covid vaccine doses available for every child

Pfizer has developed an antiviral Covid pill that is similar in design to one created by pharmaceutical competitor MerckRidgeback Biotherapeutics is Ridgeback’s partner. Bourla’s comments came after Pfizer posted stronger-than-expectedQuarterly reports were earlier in the day. Company also increased its Covid vaccine sales guidance for full year by 7.5%
Bourla stated that Pfizer can produce 4 billion vaccine doses in the next year. The company also has orders for over 1.7 billion doses. Bourla stated that he hopes low-income countries place orders as the company charges them less than those with higher incomes.
Pfizer stock shares rose over 4% Tuesday.
