FRANKFURT, Reuters – Tesla (NASDAQ) Inc Chief Executive Elon Musk took to Twitter (NYSE) Tuesday to complain about a process that allowed local residents to voice their objections to a massive factory he’s building in Berlin.

Tesla is currently stalling production on electric cars because of this issue.

“Sigh,” Musk tweeted https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1455625961643380741?s=20 on Tuesday in response to an article posted about the consultation.

Musk then added in a second tweet https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1455626500443709445?s=20, “What they are doing is just not right.”

The local authorities have yet to give approval for the battery and car factory. Consultation continues until Nov. 22.

Musk, who has been fighting for two years to have production on the site go, expressed his dissatisfaction at German laws, processes and policies. Musk claimed complex planning requirements are contrary to the urgent need to stop climate change.
