Chesapeake Energy boosts 2021 oil output forecasts by 1 million barrels -Breaking

(Reuters:) Shale producer Chesapeake Energy Corp. (NYSE:) Wednesday announced that its projected 2021 total oil production would rise to between 24.5 Million and 26.5 Million barrels. That’s an increase by 1 million barrels from the earlier guidance.

According to a presentation, the company stated that it will run two to three south Texas rigs next year as well as two to three in Appalachia. According to the company, it will have five to six active drilling rigs in its Gulf Coast operations.
