Continental Resources posts profit, to buy Pioneer Natural’s Delaware assets -Breaking

(Reuters) – Continental Resources Inc (NYSE:) Inc reported Wednesday a profit of 3.3% in its third quarter compared to a loss last year and stated it would purchase Pioneer Natural Resources Co.’s Delaware Basin assets worth $3.25 Billion

For the three months ending Sept. 30, oil and gas producer disclosed an adjusted profit in excess of $437.2M, or $1.20 per Share, compared to a loss last year of $58.9M, or 16 Cents per Share.
