DAFI Protocol’s dBridge Testnet Launches Featuring a Merkle-Proof Cross-Chain Bridge

DAFI Protocol announced today the launch of its highly anticipated dBridge Testnet. This bridge allows for fast, secure transactions across multiple chain chains and can be used to support DAFI tokens as well as dTokens. With the aim of improving user experience and the process before launching dBridge, the Testnet allows users to try the bridge function and provide feedback.

In the past, DAFI’s technology has allowed users to witness the power of Super Staking and shown the potential to leverage Staking 2.0 to create a more balanced network of incentivization across projects and their communities. dBridge facilitates bi-directional transfers DAFI among blockchains. It includes the Binance Smart chain (with many more in the future).

According to DAFI, dBridge was built by taking a “security and speed focused approach”. dBridge’s architecture involves using “Merkle-proofs and roots in order to validate transfers on more than one blockchain.” This occurs by having two bridge contracts in place on the sending and receiving chain with a listener watcher over the events on both chains. dBridge is subject to multiple security audits, and users are encouraged to provide feedback.

dBridge has been designed with simplicity in mind. It only requires a handful of steps to allow users to transact DAFI tokens across-chain. First users visit https://bridge.dafiprotocol.io/ and select their starting chain (test net tokens will be required at this stage). The tokens will begin bridging immediately after you have received approval from Metamask. Last, users visit the “claims” tab to claim their bridged assets. Bridging takes just a few seconds.

Despite a robust technical architecture, the process is extremely straightforward for end users who can benefit from dBridge’s security and speed. To learn more about DAFI’s dBridge Testnet, visit DAFI’s official Medium announcement or social media channels.
