Eco-friendly sneaker maker Allbirds raises over $300 million in U.S. IPO -Breaking

(Reuters) – Allbirds Inc, an eco-friendly shoe manufacturer, announced Tuesday that it has raised over $300 million in New York’s initial public offering (IPO).

Franklin Templeton was the asset manager backing Allbirds. He said that Allbirds had priced its initial public offering of 20.2 million shares at $15 each.

The company’s shares are due to trade on the Nasdaq Select Market starting Nov. 3, under the ticker “BIRD”.
