BRUSSELS. (Reuters.) – The Euro zone saw 7.4% unemployment in September. That is consistent with the EU’s statistics office, which was released Wednesday. It comes as the economy recovers from the COVID-19 recession.

Statistics office reported that 12.079 million people in 19 Euro-member countries were out of work in September. This is compared to 8.334 million or 7.5% in August.

This is the lowest unemployment rate since April 2020 (when it was 7.3%).
