French minister says UK showed ‘constructive’ spirit in Brexit fishing talks -Breaking

PARIS (Reuters), – Britain showed a constructive spirit during its discussions with France about post-Brexit fish licences, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, French transport minister, said Wednesday.

“I spoke with my counterpart yesterday night. Djebbari said that there is an optimistic spirit about this topic. He added that the talks would go on until Thursday.

On Wednesday, Paris and London had their differences about fishing. The French took the Cornelis Gert Jan from French waters just near Le Havre.
