AMSTERDAM (Reuters). ING Groep (AS:) NV reported Thursday a better-than-expected pretax profit for the third quarter of 2014. This was due to higher fees and better margins in commercial lending, as well lower bad loan costs.

Refinitiv data shows that analysts saw pretax profit of 1.80 trillion euros. The pretax profit in 2020’s third quarter was 1.20 Billion Euros.
