Microchip reported earnings per share at $1.07, based on $1.65B in revenue. Investing.com polled analyst to predict EPS of $1.05 based on $1.64B in revenue.
Microchip shares rose 48% over the course of the year but are down by 0.43% from February 17’s 52-week peak of $83.33, set at 83.33. They are outperforming the S&P 500 which is up 24.62% from the start of the year.
Following the publication, Microchip shares rose 3.64% after-hours.

Microchip reports on an earnings beat achieved by Alphabet C, who reported EPS at $27.99 for revenue $65.12B. This compares to the forecasted EPS at $23.83 for revenue $63.533B.
Taiwan Semiconductor exceeded expectations in October 14, with an EPS of $1.07 based on $14.75B revenue. This was compared to the forecast of EPS at $1.04 based on $14.81B revenue.
