Blinken names two officials to lead U.S. response to Havana Syndrome cases -Breaking

WASHINGTON (Reuters] – U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken named Friday two new officials to oversee Washington’s response in the wake of so-called Havana Syndrome incidents, which affected U.S. officials and diplomats overseas.

Blinken announced in an address that Ambassador Jonathan Moore was to serve as the chief of the Health Incident Response Task Force, and Ambassador Margaret Uyehara is going to lead a team to support affected employees.

Blinken declared, “This is an urgent priority for President Biden for me and for our whole government.”
