France stocks higher at close of trade; CAC 40 up 0.71% -Breaking

Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The index gained 0.63% and the Paris stock market rose by 0.71% at the closing.

These were the best performers of the session Safran SA (PA) climbed 5.06% to 5.80 points and traded at 120.40 by the close. Airbus Group SE, PA: added 4.66% to close at 114.08 while WFD Unibail Rodamco (AS:), was up 4.54% to 69.34.

They were also the worst performers of the session. Teleperformance SE (PA:) fell by 4.83%, or 17.60 point to close at 346.70. Eurofins Scientific SE, (PA) fell 3.92% to 99.58. Veolia Environnement VE SA(PA:) dropped 1.92% to 29.63.

Top performers in the SBF 120 competition were Accessor SA (PA) rose 6.29% at 33.64. JC Decaux SA was up 5.99% at 25,48. Safran SA, PA:, was up 5.06% at 120.40.

They were among the most disappointing. Valneva (PA:), which fell 11.20% to 17.760 late trade Sartorius Stedim Biotech SA, (PA:), which suffered a 9.36% loss to settle at 451.20 Biomerieux SA (PA:), which fell 6.25% to 105.00 by the end.

The Paris Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing by 312 to 3,310, and 80 ended the same.

The implied volatility index of CAC 40 options was at 0% to 18.96, a 6-month high.

The December delivery of Gold Futures was at $1811.35 per troy ounce, an increase of 1.00%. In commodities trading, crude oil for December delivery rose by 2.61 percent to $81.42 per barrel. The January Brent oil contract rose 2.81 percent or 2.26, to trade at $82.80 per barrel.

EUR/USD rose 0.01%, to 1.1553, while EUR/GBP rose0.09% to 0.8564

At 94.295, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.05%.
