Nintendo says chip shortage hitting hardware development -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Japan’s Nintendo Co Ltd said Friday that a worldwide shortage of chips had forced it to reduce its sales forecasts for the hit Change Hardware development is underway as well.

An analyst briefing was given by Ko Shiota (Nintendo executive), who said that the semiconductor situation had an impact on hardware development.

He said, “We’re looking into substituting parts and redesigning designs in order to reduce the impact.”
