Jane Castor, the mayor of Tampa Bay, Florida, has introduced that she’s going to start accepting her paycheck in (BTC), in accordance to a number of sources who attended Florida’s Bitcoin & Blockchain Summit.

Castor made the announcement Friday morning on Day Two of the Summit, which is being held at Amalie Enviornment in downtown Tampa. In line with individuals who attended the occasion, crypto lending platform Celsius Community will facilitate the mayor’s BTC funds.
