BERLIN (Reuters), – The euro zone saw a rise in investor morale during November, the first since July. Investors expected price increases and supply bottlenecks to temporarily slow down the economy. A Monday survey revealed that this was the result of a new survey.
Sentix’s Euro zone Index rose to 18.3, from 16.9 in October. A Reuters poll indicated a reading of 15.5, according to Reuters.
Sentix’s Managing Director Patrick Hussy stated that “supply bottlenecks” and high inflation were causing companies problems and have a braking effect.
However, the investors do not anticipate a long-term burden and feel more positive about the future six months.
Current conditions index decreased to 23.5 points in November from 26.3. This is its lowest point since June. However, the expectations index rose to 13.3 from 8.
Sentix conducted a survey of 1,095 potential investors, Nov. 4, through Nov. 6.
