Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The index lost 0.3% at Frankfurt’s close, but gained 0.82% and climbed by 0.71%.

They were the top performers at the session Siemens Energy AG (DE:) climbed 4.56% to 1.04 point, trading at 23.86 by the close. Merck KGaA (+DE:) gained 2.89%, or 5.85 point to trade at 208.15. Sartorius A.G. VZO O.N. Late trade saw a 2.7% increase or 14,000 points in Merck KGaA (DE:),

The worst performers of the session were Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (DE:), which fell 5.38% or 4.34 points to trade at 76.33 at the close. Volkswagen AG VZO O.N. (DE:), fell 2.53%, or 4.89 points, to close at 188.06 while RWE AG ST O.N. (DE:) fell 1.89% to 31.915.

These were the top performers on MDAX Evotec AG O.N. O.N. Aurubis AG (DE:), which rose 3.41% to reach 78.320 Nemetschek AG O.N. O.N.

AUTO1 Group SE, (DE:), which fell 3.05% to 31,80 in late trading was the worst performer. Rheinmetall AG (DE :), which fell 2.15% to 85.680, and Tag Immobilien AG AG (DE :), which dropped 1.38% at 26.390.

These were the top performers of the TecDAX Nordex SE O.N. (DE:), which rose 6.8% to 14.250. Evotec AG O.N. (DE:), up 3.98%, to close at 41.000. Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:), which closed at 114.100 with a gain of 3.21%

Deutsche Telekom AG Na, (DE:), which fell 1.19% to 16.635 late trade was the worst performer. CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. O.N. Morphosys AG O.N. (DE) was at 39.950, a decrease of 0.88%.

The Frankfurt Stock Exchange saw rising stocks surpass declining stocks by 371 percent to 317, and 33 ended the same.

Shares in Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE) rose to record highs. It gained 3.21%, or 3.550 to 112.100. Shares in Nemetschek AG O.N. (DE:), rose to new highs, rising by 3.21% (3.550) to 114.100.

The, which is used to measure implied volatility for DAX options was up 2.86% and 16.53.

For December delivery, Gold Futures rose 0.41% to $1824.25 an ounce. Other commodities traded included Crude oil, which rose by 0.90% to $82.00/barrel in December, and January Brent oil, which rose by 0.88% or 0.73, to trade at $83.47/barrel.

EUR/USD rose 0.17%, to 1.1586. EUR/GBP declined 0.22% at 0.8548.

US Dollar Index Futures were down 0.2% at 94.067.
