Israel stock prices higher after close of trading; TA35 up 0.02%

Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The stock market rose by 0.02% at the closing in Tel Aviv to reach a new record high.

Perrigo, TASE:, rose 2.9% or 330 point to trade at 14760 by the close. In the meantime ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE) increased 1.49%, or 41 points, to reach 2787. Ormat Technologies TASE: was at 23820, up 1.40% in late trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Energix TASE:, which dropped 3.31% (or 49 points) to trade at 1433 by the close. Strauss Group (TASE): dropped 1.40% (133 points) to close at 9366. Melisron: (TASE): was down 1.36% (390 points) until 28330.

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 266 to 226, while 37 ended the same.

ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd. (TASE) shares rose to new 5-year highs. They gained 1.49% or 41-2787.

December crude oil was at $82.06 per barrel, an increase of 0.97%. Brent oil rose 0.99%, or 0.82, to $83.56 per barrel in commodity trading. The December Gold Futures contract climbed 0.46%, or 8.30, to $1825.10 an ounce.

USD/ILS increased 0.12% to 3.1126. EUR/ILS rose 3.3% to 3.6072.

At 94.032, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.30%.
