All People Can Be United Through the Innovative Foodverse

OneRare isn’t a mere game that solely talks about food recipes and ingredients. Supreet Raju (CEO of OneRare) spoke candidly to me about the creation of OneRare. She said it was designed to help people get more involved in food and create a community of enthusiastic cooks.

Food is universal and transcends geography. It fosters international unity and transcends the boundaries of age, gender, or geography. While everyone may have an opinion on food, there’s no doubt that food plays a significant role in celebrations, feasts, special occasions, etc.

The role of food is now one that goes beyond a meal made in the kitchen. Covid-19’s emergence spurred the development of OneRare, says the founding team. It was obvious that everyone would be confined to their desks, so it was imperative to create an engaging game that could keep them all engaged and also allow them to try new internal dishes from their own kitchens.

Innovative Idea, Engaging Gameplay

This project uses Web3 technologies along with Material UI and React to provide seamless gameplay and an immersive experience for users. This is an exciting Foodverse that features unique game mechanics and tokenization layers. Players can earn money by farming, selling and collecting ingredients, as well as minting Dish NFTs.

You can earn points by creating an NFT-based dish. This involves gathering ingredients and recording them. The player receives an NFT-based dish once the ingredients have been submitted to the kitchen. The team of experienced developers have disclosed that Players can mint two types of dishes – rare dish or rarest of all.

Popular recipes all around the world are rare, and unique recipes only a few times are the most sought-after. Players can earn lucrative rewards in four ways – The Farm, Farmer’s Market, Kitchen, and Playground.

The Farm allows the players to grow ingredients based on the recipe they would want to mint and sell them in the Farmer’s market to earn ORARE tokens. ORARE tokens is the governance token that empowers holders to play in the game and transact in the farmer’s market. The developers state that farmers are limited to growing one crop in the same farm.

The project has a Farmer’s Market which is the game’s inhouse marketplace, and has three shops. It constitutes a Farmer’s shop where farmed ingredients are sold, OneRare Shop where special ingredients are sold, and Dish Sellers where owners of Dish NFTs resell their dishes for ORARE tokens.

The heart of the Foodverse is the Kitchen, which houses all recipes from around the globe. Each player collects ingredients specific to the dish and earns Dish NFT. This allows them to play in the playground. In a series mini games, the players compete against each other to win ORARE tokens.

OneRare players have so many more people to admire in their game. Earning a NFT isn’t the only thing but those NFTs also empower the players to meet celebrity chefs, food brands, and access restaurants.

NFT holders are also able to swap OneRare NFTs in exchange for food at restaurants all over the world. OneRare isn’t about all the fun – the Foodverse also has a mission to end world hunger by raising funds from the game.
