Toshiba considering split into three companies to resolve conglomerate discount -Breaking

TOKYO, Reuters – Toshiba (OTC) Corp may split itself in three to focus on infrastructure, devices, and semiconductors, a spokesperson stated Monday. This would help resolve the conglomerate discount.

Toshiba has begun formulating its next long-term plan for enhancing corporate value. A statement from the company stated that the possible strategic options include the splitting of the business.
