Bayer says head of agriculture unit quits -Breaking

FRANKFURT, (Reuters) – Bayer (OTC) announced Tuesday that Liam Condon (head of its crop science division) would resign at the end the year in order to pursue new career opportunities after disappointing results earlier in the year.
German producer of pharmaceuticals and agricultural products announced that Rodrigo Santos would replace Condon as chief operating officer at Crop Science on Jan.
Bayer reported also that the third quarter earnings before interest tax, depreciation, amortization, and amortisation rose 16.4%, to 2.09 Billion Euros ($2.41 Billio). This is an increase of 1.8 billion in a year and exceeds an analyst’s average forecast of 1.94B.
