Japan PM Kishida says he hopes to compile stimulus package on Nov 19 -Kyodo -Breaking

TOKYO (Reuters – Fumio, Japan’s Prime Minister, stated that he plans to prepare an economic stimulus plan on November 19, and to add a budget for funding the expenditures by the end this month.

According to Kyodo, Kishida made this comment at a meeting with ruling party executives.

Komeito, the coalition partner of Kishida’s Liberal Democratic Party, is currently negotiating details for the package. These include how much cash the government will pay to offset the impact from the COVID-19 pandemic.
