WASHINGTON (Reuters] -The U.S. Senate committee that is probing the January 6th attack on Capitol stated Tuesday it had subpoenaed additional associates of President Donald Trump including Stephen Miller, Kayleigh McEnany, senior adviser, and other White House aides to obtain documents and testimony.
The chairman of the select panel, U.S. Representative Bennie Thompson said that the committee wants to learn every detail about what happened at the White House on January 6th and in the days immediately before.
Thompson explained that we need to find out exactly what the ex-President and his aides did to prevent the count of electoral votes from being stopped and if any outsiders tried to change the result.
