Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The Saudi Arabian close saw the currency fall by 0.79%.

BANK ALBILAD, which gained 4.55% (or 2.00 points) to trade at 46.00 by the close of trading on the session were the top performers. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:) added 3.27% or 2.50 points to end at 79.00 and Makkah Construction&Development Co (SE:) was up 3.08% or 2.20 points to 73.60 in late trade.

These were the worst performers of the session. Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:), which fell 9.98% or 4.15 points to trade at 37.45 at the close. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. declined 9.5% or 3.75 points, to finish at 37.90. Saudi Industrial Export Co. was down 8.47% (or 8.00 points), to 86.40.

The Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange saw falling stocks surpass advancing stock by 184 percent to 21, and 10 ended the same.

Shares of BANK ALBILD (SE:), rose to five-year highs, rising 4.55%. This is an increase of 2.00 to 46.00. Shares in Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 9.98% or 4.15 to 37.45. Amana Cooperative Insurance Co. shares (SE) dropped to 52-week levels; down 9.00%, or 3.75 to 38.90.

December crude oil was at $82.39 per barrel, an increase of 0.56%. Brent oil, which was due for delivery in January, rose 0.45% or 0.33 to reach $83.76/barrel, and the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.65% or 0.09% to trade at $1829.65/troy ounce.

EUR/SAR increased by 0.2% to 4.3464. USD/SAR climbed 0.00% at 3.7505.

At 94.010, the US Dollar Index Futures fell 0.03%.
