U.S. FDA lifts clinical hold on Inovio’s COVID-19 vaccine trial -Breaking

(Reuters) — Inovio Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ) Inc stated Tuesday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration had lifted the partial Clinical Hold on Inovio Pharmaceuticals’ COVID-19 vaccination trial.

In an effort to obtain more information, FDA placed the FDA’s final stage trial in limbo last year. The FDA also sought out details from the company about the delivery device that allows genetic material to be injected into cells.

Inovio claimed that FDA reviewed was completed and agency authorized study.
