U.S. administers 434.5 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines

(Reuters) – As of Wednesday morning, 434,486,889 COVID-19 vaccinations had been administered in America. The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that 541,361,525 vaccines were distributed.

This is an increase from the 433,156,393 vaccines that the CDC stated had reached arms as of Nov. 9, 2009, out of 536.665,505 delivered doses.

According to the agency, 224,660.453 individuals had had at least one dose and 194,382,921 had had their entire vaccinations as of 6:59 a.m. ET on Wednesday

Two-dose shots are part of the CDC tally. Moderna (NASDAQ:) and Pfizer/BioNTech,, as well as Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:)’s one-shot vaccine.

Around 26.1 Million people have had a booster dose. Pfizer (NYSE:), Moderna or Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine. Booster doses from Moderna and Johnson & Johnson were authorized by the U.S. health regulator on Oct. 20.
